Religion in Vietnam is quite diverse, including Buddhism (itself including Mahayana, Theravada and some modified sects spcific to Vietnam such as Hoa Hao, Tu An Hieu Nghia), Christianity (including Catholicism and Protestantism), indigenous religions such as Cao Dai, and some other religions (Hinduism and Islam). Folk beliefs also have a lot of influence in Vietnam.

The five largest religions are Catholicism, Buddhism, Hoa Hao, Protestantism, and Cao Dai.
