Hai Phong City

 Hai Phong is located 106 km east of Ha Noi, on the coast. It is the important northern sea transport hub. With the advantage of a deep-water port, Hai Phong is very developed and also one of the growth areas of the northern key economic region. Hai Phong is also a major tourist destination. Cat Ba Archipelago was recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve in Paris in 2004 and is being proposed to be recognized as a world natural heritage according to biodiversity criteria, as part of the expanded Ha Long Bay.
