The largest island in Vietnam, Phu Quoc is located in Kien Giang Province, just west of the Mekong Delta. During the Indochina War, Phu Quoc became a French prison, called Cay Dua Prison, which was one of the largest prisons in Vietnam. Nowadays, Phu Quoc is a popular destination for honeymooners and couples from Vietnam and abroad. Known for its fresh seafood, black pepper, and white sandy beaches, Phu Quoc has become a very appealing holiday destination. After a long trip, Phu Quoc can be a great way to end your vacation and relax before going back to work.
